Missing Shapes
Description¶
Graphics you expect your laser to cut or engrave are not shown.
Solution¶
-
If you have identical graphics directly overlapping one another, and both are assigned to the same Fill Mode layer, they will negate each other, and neither will output.
-
Before you attempt to Preview or engrave duplicate graphics positioned directly over one another, you will see a warning message. Click Show Me to select just one of each duplicate shape, then Delete them.
-
You can also go to Edit → Delete Duplicates to automatically identify and delete duplicate shapes.
-
-
If you have enabled Cut Selected Graphics, make sure all graphics you want to cut or engrave are in your selection before you open the Preview window.
To disable Cut Selected Graphics, toggle off the switch in the Laser Window.
-
Make sure the Time Slider is not positioned at the very beginning of the simulation. Click Play to run the simulation, or click and drag the Time Slider to manually adjust its position.
