Blurry Edges

Blurry Edges in the Preview window

Description

The edges of graphics set to Fill Mode are blurry.

Solution

Blurred edges are due to applying a Ramp Length to layers set to Fill Mode.

Ramp Length slopes the sides of an engraving by varying the laser power. The ramp length controls how far from the design the slope will extend. This setting is useful if you create rubber stamps, particularly if the designs have thin regions that need extra support.

The ramping effect is only visible in the Preview window When Shade according to power is toggled on.

To disable the ramping effect, open the Cut Settings Editor and set Ramp Length to 0.00.
